What is Sortie?
Sortie is an iPhone app that finds exhibitions and parties in any city. You pick a city and a time — tonight, this weekend, next week — and Sortie researches the live web and returns a curated shortlist with dates, prices and ticket links.
How does Sortie find events?
Each search is fresh research, not a database lookup. Sortie reads ticket platforms, gallery pages, local listings and event sites — including sources in the local language — and condenses them into one shortlist in about a minute.
Which cities does Sortie work in?
Any city in the world. Because Sortie searches the live web instead of keeping a catalogue, there is no coverage map — if events are published anywhere online, Sortie can find them.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no profile and no ads. Events you save stay on your phone, and prices are shown in your own currency wherever you are.
Is Sortie free?
Sortie is free to download and your first three searches are free. After that you can buy a pack of searches or subscribe to Sortie Plus, both inside the app.
