The short version

Sortie finds exhibitions and parties for you using live AI research. Searches cost credits, bought as packs or included with a Sortie Plus subscription. Event details come from public sources — always check with the venue before you head out.

The service

By using Sortie you agree to these terms. Sortie is an event discovery app: each smart search researches public sources in real time and returns a curated list of events. Sortie is not the organiser or ticket seller for any event; tickets are bought from third parties under their own terms.

Search credits and packs

• New installs include a small number of free searches.
• Search packs are consumable purchases. Credits never expire, but they are stored on the device where they were bought and can't be transferred or restored to another device.
• A credit is only spent on a successful search — failed or empty searches are refunded automatically.

Sortie Plus subscriptions

• Sortie Plus renews automatically until cancelled in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Fair use. Unlimited plans are subject to a fair-use limit of 35 searches per month. Every search runs live, paid research on our servers; the limit exists to keep the service sustainable and affects only extreme usage. Once reached, searching resumes at the start of the next monthly period (search packs continue to work).
• All payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details; refund requests go through Apple.

Event information

Event details — dates, times, prices, venues and links — are researched from public sources at search time and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Verify with the venue or ticket seller before buying tickets or travelling. Sortie isn't responsible for cancelled or changed events, or for anything purchased from third parties.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, reselling search results, probing or overloading our servers, or using Sortie for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that harms the service or other users.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use Sortie after a change means you accept the updated terms.
