Privacy Policy

The short version

Sortie has no accounts, shows no ads, and never sells your data. The app sends your search (city, dates, filters) to our server to find events, and that's essentially it.

What we process

• Searches. When you run a smart search, the city, time period and filters you chose are sent to our server to research events. Search results are cached briefly so repeat searches are fast.
• Location. If you allow location access, it is used on your device to suggest your current city. Your precise location never leaves your phone.
• Purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We don't see your payment details.
• Saved events. Events you save are stored on your device only.

What we don't do

• No user accounts, profiles or tracking identifiers.
• No advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of personal data.

Third parties

Event research runs on our server using Anthropic's Claude API with web search; your searches are processed under Anthropic's privacy policy. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare.
